Games & Sports And Physical Education

Games & Sports are organised under the supervision of teachers. There is a spacious playground where games like football, hockey, basketball and cricket are played. Adequate games and sports material are provided.

House System

The School is divided into 6 Houses(viz. Amethyst, Diamond, Ruby, Emerald, Sapphire and Topaz) for all activities. Each house has its own motto , house master, house mistress, house captain, etc.

Each student belongs to one of these houses. Each House has been given a color and a week to be on duty for general activities of the school including conduct of morning assembly. All co-curricular activities are organized on the Inter-house competition system. These competitions enable the students to take part in Debate, Dramatics, Declamation contest, Painting, Games & Sports, School bulletins, School beautification, Sanitation, Cleanliness Campaigns etc.

All activities are covered in the school journal "The Jewel" Teachers and students contribute articles in English, Manipuri and Hindi for publication in journal.

Organization & Leadership Skills (CLUBS)

• Health & Physical Education – Sports, NCC/NSS, Yoga, Gardening, First Aid Assessment in Scholastic Areas
• It is done formally and informally using multiple techniques of evaluation continually and periodically
• The diagnostic evaluation takes place at the end of a unit / term as a test.

SUMMATIVE ASSESMENT (SA)

It is carried out at the end of a course of learning. It measure how much a student has learned from the course.
• Curriculum and syllabus as circulated by the board
• Question papers to be prepared by schools as per the CBSE format and have to be only from the Question Bank to be sent by CBSE
• Exam to be conducted by Schools
• Evaluation of Answers scripts will be done within the school
